She has served as Head of the Neuropsychiatry Department at Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine and as Director of the Ahmed Okasha Institute of Psychiatry, where she advanced treatment programs and research initiatives.
Currently, she is a consultant at the Psychiatry Health Resort, Dr. Ahmed Okasha, and Maadi Military Hospital, bringing extensive expertise in neuropsychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and mental health policy.
Professor Sayed is an active member of leading professional organizations, including the National Council of Mental Health, the Egyptian Psychiatric Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Egyptian Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Fluent in Arabic and English, she continues to shape the field through her academic leadership, clinical excellence, and commitment to advancing mental health care.
