Bio

Dr. Susan El Kholi is a distinguished Clinical Psychologist and Head of the Psychology Department in Cairo, Egypt, with an exceptional academic and professional record.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Diploma in Clinical Psychology, and M.D. in Psychology from Cairo University, followed by a Ph.D. in Psychology with pioneering research on cognitive styles among drug abusers.
Licensed by the Ministry of Health to practice psychotherapy, Dr. El Kholi has also completed specialized training in eating disorders at Dukes Priory Hospital in England and is a member of the British Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP).
Her expertise spans clinical psychology, cognitive and behavioral psychotherapy, and the treatment of eating disorders, complemented by groundbreaking research on attention in psychiatric patients.
She has held senior clinical positions at leading institutions, including Ain Shams University and Okasha Hospital for Psychological Medicine, and is fluent in both Arabic and English.
